Exeter Educational Visit

Year 3 had a superb visit to Exeter. The day began with an exciting ride on the train from Eggesford Station to Exeter Central. We then proceeded to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), where we split into groups and explored the displays. We saw lots of animals and artefacts from across time. The children found the weapons particularly exciting!

Next, we travelled towards the cathedral where we had a quick snack on cathedral green. We then ate our lunch before being joined by the fantastic Angela from the Cathedral education team, who gave us a very informative tour. We explored the outside of the cathedral and then found out about its rich history inside. The children asked some brilliant questions.

The day was rounded off by our train ride home, where the children were reunited with their parents.

Thank you to all parents/carers for getting your children to and from the station, this was much
appreciated and enabled us to give the children the experience of a train journey!

Mrs Fenemore, Mrs Dennis and I are extremely proud of how the children behaved and represented the school.
