Our trip to Buckfastleigh was a great way to show our knowledge of this terms science learning sequence. We were able to impress the staff members with our understanding of life cycles and metamorphosis. During the trip, we had the opportunity to see otters from around the world and explain what they need within their habitats to survive. We were also able to see some butterfly chrysalis that arrived alongside a moth cocoon which would soon break and reveal a moth bigger than our hands! Overall, despite the rain everyone asked some fantastic questions to engage further discussion. Well done everyone!
