About Our School

At Kings Nympton School we aim to:
  • Be a happy School
  • Do the best we can
  • Think for ourselves
  • Have respect for others and the environment
Kings Nympton School was built in 1930 and has had many improvements over the years. We are a small rural primary school with approximately 50 children. Our school has a playground, a playing field, a garden and a wildlife area which includes a pond. We use the Parish Hall for P.E. and Drama.

Also on our site is the Kings Nympton Pre-school, which feeds into our Key Stage 1 class.

We have an active Friends’ Association. The present chair is Jeanette Hersey. She can be contacted via The School Office.
We are a feeder primary school for Chulmleigh Community College but some children who live nearer South Molton choose to go to the community college there. Please click on the links below to visit their websites.
